TERMS & CONDITIONS (NORTH INDIA TOURS)
Passengers are requested to book seats well in advance(Minimum 120 days) to ensure confirmed reservation by Train. We also accept bookings upto the date prior to journey subject to availability of seats/berths at passengers’ risk and responsibility. Passengers are requested to carry original photo ID card during journey.
If you reserve your seats later, you may get RAC (Reservation against Cancellation). In this case you will be entitled to travel in a sleeper coach with only seat arrangements without sleeper berth.
The fare is inclusive of journey by second class sleeper by express/super fast train. Journey tickets for upper class may be arranged (subject to availability) at extra cost on their request in writing.
Onward/Return journey ticket may be arranged from places of passengers’ choice (subject to availability) on their request in writing.
Senior citizen who wish to avail concession during Train journey should produce original Age proof while on journey.
If the tour is extended for any reason,extended days/halts will be charged Rs. 2000/- per day to be paid during the tour.
Air tickets (check fare) can be arranged from Mangalore/ Bangalore for passengers to join our groups, at extra cost. (subject to availability).
For North India Tours-flight charges extra
We can book the train tickets together in the same compartment if we receive the bookings 120 days prior to the departure for our North Indian tours to get confirmed train tickets for all sectors, Or else, we have to make alternative arrangements according to the availability at the last moment without the consent of the tourists.
Even later, you will get Wait Listed tickets which is not entitled to travel in a reserved compartment with reserved seats and sleeper. This ticket is entitled only to travel in a General compartment.
As such to ensure proper reservation you have to book your seats well in advance. As per the railway rules the train tickets are not transferable. We can neither block the tickets nor get your seats confirmed in any other manner if you are late to reserve seats.
For our North India tours, due to cancellation, preponement or postponement of tour, the transportation will be arranged according to the size of the groups.
Accommodation will be arranged depending on the size of your family. Extra person will be provided with a mattress. In case you require an extra room for your convenience the same will be arranged at an actual extra cost.
In Barkot (Yamunothri), Uttarkashi (Gangothri), Badrinath and Gowrikund (Kedarnath), allotment of rooms will be according to the number of beds in a room.
In all our North India tours, the actual check-in-time will be 12.00 noon or as per itinerary, whichever is earlier. The tourists who report earlier according to their convenience will have to wait till the actual check-in time or in case they wish to occupy a room, (subject to availability) will have to bear one day room rent of the particular hotel.
If the train ticket is not available we will try under TATKAL scheme (subject to availability) In this case additional charges of TATKAL reservation will be extra
Once flight ticket issued it is non-refundable under any circumstances. Flight ticket amount will not be refunded.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Advance of Rs. 10,000/- per seat for North India Tour and Rs. 25,000/- per seat for International / Island Tours and Rs. 5,000/- per seat for rest of the Tours should be paid through DD/Cheque/ RTGS/NEFT favouring Vikram Travels & Resorts India Pvt. Ltd. payable at Mangaluru / Bengaluru. Your early reservation will help you to choose the seats you want. Kindly send the name, age, address of persons at the time of reservation.
Balance amount should be paid 30 days prior to commencement of the tour or by Cash/DD/Cheque/RTGS/NEFT to Mangaluru / Bengaluru office only or else your seat will be allotted to some other tourist without your consent. Balance amount should be payable either by Cash / Cheque / D. D. / Neft / RTGS before commencement of the tour enroute we are not accepting balance amount. Once advance amount paid, neither refundable nor transferable under any circumstances. If you want to cancel the seats it should be only in writing. If the balance amount is paid in full, Cancellation charges are as follows :
- 10 days prior : 10%
- 7 days prior : 75%
- Less than 7 days : No refund
- Refund amount will be paid by A/c payee cheque only
Tour Fares are subject to change with or without notice depending on the Central -State Govt. Budget effects. Rates prevailing on the date of departure will apply. Charges for children : aged 3 to 7 years for South and Central India tours and 5 to 11 years for North India tours, half charges without seat.
Right of allotment of seats reserved. Company reserves unconditional rights to refuse bookings or terminate passengers on tour in the event of unreasonable behavior at any time.
Tour will be confirmed subject to availability of minimum no. of passengers. In case the number of passengers are less than required capacity, tour may be merged, postponed or conducted by mini bus taxi whichever has been arranged. In this case there may be changes in the seat nos.
Tour timings and itinerary are subject to change. Consequently, it may be revised at any time during the tour, with or without notice depending upon the exigencies of occasion. We will inform you these amendments prior to the start of the tour or on tour. No grievances regarding any itinerary/ service change which we are constrained to make will be entertained from the tour participants during or after the tour.
If the tour is cancelled by us amount paid by you will be fully refunded by A/c payee cheque but no compensation is payable for consequential loss suffered.
If the tour is extended due to unavoidable circumstances, additional expenses should be borne by the party. Extension of the tour is right of Management.
Vikram Travels & Resorts India Pvt. Ltd., reserves rights to cancel seats.
Vikram Travels & Resorts India Pvt. Ltd.,does not accept any responsibility for delay or change, missed connection, political disturbance, strike, war, natural calamities, injury,death, sickness, accident, theft, consequential loss or expenses borne by the passengers.
Vikram Travels & Resorts India Pvt. Ltd., on behalf of its management, employees, agents and representatives notify, that no liability will be attached for the loss of person or property caused or damaged, or suffered by the customer on account of deficiency in service rendered or to be rendered by the consent contractors or suppliers of such services including carriers and arranged hotels.
If the passengers discontinue journey while on tour should be given by writing, unused portion of the tour amount will not be refunded.
You have the right at any time to cancel the booking but if you do so, must make the cancellation in writing. The cancellation rules behind the reservation form filled & signed by you will apply.
Tour will be confirmed subject to minimum of breakeven points depending to the capacity of the vehicle, otherwise we hold the right to cancel the tour. Cancellation will be informed to you 10 days before the actual departure.
Vikram Travels & Resorts India Pvt. Ltd., does not undertake any responsibility for non reimbursement of LFC/LTC Claims.
Special Entrance ticket and other charges payable extra at the places of visit wherever applicable.
Handpicked good tourist hotels all offering private bath are specifically chosen keeping in mind the comforts of the tourist. Some of the hotels may be located in the cities, but to provide with comfortable hotels and reasonable prices, it is often necessary to use hotels away from city centers. Families requesting for a Three/Four bedded rooms will be given depending on the availability in that hotel otherwise they will be provided with extra rollaway bed, which you need to be prepared for having less space in your room.
Single supplement: This will be charged extra for a person travelling alone or with family but wish to occupy a separate room. Kindly consult the office before booking. Cost depends on the tour chosen.
Senior citizens: Male 60 years and above are eligible for concession of 40% and Females 58 years and above are eligible for concession of 50% on train fare only. We can reserve train ticket on concession fare only if we receive your consent while booking the tour and only if you produce original age proof with an valid photo ID while travelling. Or else, the train ticket will be reserved on full fare and no claim will be entertained later.
Note: We advise you to book your flight tickets only after confirmation of our tour.
Special group tours will be arranged exclusively as well as executive special tour packages according to your choice and budget for Schools, Colleges, Corporations or Organisations.
Vikram Travels & Resorts India Pvt. Ltd. does not undertake any responsibility. If the sight seeing places which is mentioned in itineary which if not covered by any reason.
No refunds will be made for non working of A/C units of the coaches while on tour.

Photographs or video clips : Company reserves the right to use photographs / Video Clips of the tourist taken on tour and / or given by tourist for promotion of the company’s business without obtaining prior permission of the concerned tourist.
All legal proceedings against shall be within Mangaluru jurisdiction and jurisdiction of Court at other places is expressively excluded.
